Salted Caramel Chocolate Chip Mason Jar Cookies
  1. ½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened

  2. 1 large egg

  3. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  4. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  5. In a large mixing bowl, beat softened butter, egg, and vanilla until creamy.

  6. Add the contents of the jar and mix until fully combined. The dough will be thick.

  7. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.

  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown. Remove from oven and sprinkle with flaked sea salt.

  9. Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.

  10. Enjoy warm or store in an airtight container for up to a week.
