Lemon Loaf
  1. Preheat oven to 350F

  2. Whisk together egg yolk and sugar until mixture looks pale yellow and bubbly

  3. Whisk in melted butter, sour cream and lemon juice

  4. Sift in dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, salt) and gently fold until just combined

  5. Bake for 18-20 minutes until golden

  6. Mix powdered sugar, lemon juice, and vanilla to make icing

  7. Apply lemon glaze to cooled loaf
