Easy Honey Garlic Pork Chops
  1. Prepare the Pork Chops: Start by patting the pork chops dry using paper towels. This helps them sear better! Season both sides generously with salt and pepper. If you’d like, sprinkle some smoked paprika over them for a kick of flavor.

  2. Sear the Pork Chops: Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, carefully add the pork chops. Sear them until they look golden and slightly charred, about 4-5 minutes on each side. Once done, transfer the chops to a plate and set them aside.

  3. Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds, just until you can smell it—be careful not to let it burn! Now, stir in the honey, soy sauce, vinegar, chopped rosemary, and if you like a bit of heat, sprinkle in the red pepper flakes. Allow the sauce to simmer gently for about 2-3 minutes until it thickens up nicely.

  4. Finish Cooking the Pork Chops: Carefully return the pork chops back into the skillet, turning them to coat well with the sauce. Cook everything together for an additional 2-3 minutes, regularly spooning the sauce over the chops. They’re done when they reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).

  5. Rest and Serve: After cooking, take the skillet off the heat and let the pork chops rest for a few minutes. This will help them absorb all that delicious flavor! Garnish with fresh rosemary sprigs and serve immediately, alongside steamed rice or mashed potatoes to enjoy with that scrumptious sauce.
