Pear In Puff Pastry With Brie And Honey
  1. Wash and peel the pears. Cut the bottom of the pears. Hollow out the pears and remove the flesh.

  2. Place a piece of Brie in each fruit.

  3. Cut ⅓ of the rolled sheet of puff pastry into 3 squares, then cut the rest of the dought into long, fairly thin strips. Place the puff pastry squares on a baking tray. Place the pears on the squares. Wrap each pear with strips of puff pastry.

  4. Brush egg yolk on each pear, then sprinkle with powdered sugar. Bake for 30 minutes at 360°F. Drizzle with honey, top with fresh thyme leaves, if using.
