Mix the chicken with cornstarch. In a small bowl, combine all the ingredients for the Sauce and stir well. Set both aside.
Heat a skillet with the oil. Sauté the garlic until aromatic. Add the chicken and stir-fry until the surface turns opaque. Then add the asparagus and continue to stir-fry for about 1 minute.
Add the sauce to the skillet. Once it thickens, dish out the contents and serve immediately.
