Pumpkin Ice Cream Pie
  1. Combine ingredients for crust. Press into large pie plate or cake pan. Freeze crust.

  2. Blend together pumpkin, brown sugar or honey, salt, cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg.

  3. Pour into crust. Freeze until firm.

  4. For topping, in a small heavy skillet, melt ¼ cup white sugar + 1 cup silvered almonds. Stir constantly until dark brown. Turn out onto wax paper and let cool. When cold, cover with shrink wrap and bang with hammer or rolling pin. Pull pie from freezer 10 minutes prior to serving. Sprinkle with praline. Garnish with whipped cream.
