  1. In a large pan, boil the potatoes and carrots until just soft - Keep to one side

  2. Heat the Olive Oil in a large casserole pan, and add the meat - browning all over. Add the flour and coat all over.

  3. Add the beef stock & herbs and heat through. Drain the potatoes & carrots and add to the pan.

  4. Add the worcestershire sauce, s&p to taste & bake in the oven with a lid on for 2-2.5 hours. Make sure the liquid doesn't evaporate - you may need to top up.
