Place the gammon into the slow cooker with 500ml of chicken stock and cook on high for 6-8 hours.
Remove the gammon from the slow cooker and shred
Add your butter to a medium heat, then add your flour to make a paste. Gradually add the milk, one tablespoon of mustard, fresh parsley, black pepper and mix until you reach your desired consistency. Feel free to add more milk if it's too thick.
Serve the shredded ham with some mashed potato, garden peas and that gorgeous parsley
