Fluffy Butter Rolls
  1. In a bowl, combine the warm milk, instant yeast, and sugar. Let it sit for a few minutes until it becomes frothy.

  2. Add one egg and the melted butter to the yeast mixture, stirring until well combined.

  3. In a separate bowl, mix the all-purpose flour and salt together.

  4. Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until a dough forms.

  5. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until it is smooth and elastic.

  6. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a cloth, and let it rise in a warm place until it doubles in size, about 1 hour.

  7. Once risen, punch down the dough and divide it into 12 equal pieces.

  8. Shape each piece into a ball and place them in a greased baking dish.

  9. Cover the rolls with a cloth and let them rise again for about 30 minutes.

  10. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

  11. In a small bowl, whisk together the remaining egg and water or milk.

  12. Brush the tops of the rolls with the egg wash and then brush with melted butter.

  13. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.

  14. Remove from the oven and brush with more melted butter before serving.
