Aunt Melissa's Granola -Zoe
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F / 175°C. Line two baking sheets with silicone mats.

  2. In a very large bowl, whisk together the honey, maple syrup, oil, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt.

  3. Mix in the oats, sesame seeds, pumpkin seeds, chopped nuts, and coconut until they are uniformly coated.

  4. Divide the granola between the two baking sheets and spread it evenly over the mats.

  5. Bake for 20 minutes, then stir the granola. Continue baking for another 10 to 15 minutes and stir.

  6. Continue baking for another 5 to 10 minutes, then stir. Continue this process until the granola is golden brown. Depending on how thick you have it piled on the pan, it can take two or three more cycles.

  7. Cool the granola completely on the pans. Add the dried fruit, dehydrated berries, and carob chips (if using). Use in Frazzy Bringle's Bars or serve with yogurt or milk.
