Add pancetta to a cold pan and cook until crispy
Add liquid smoke if desired
Add diced onion and minced garlic to the pan
Stir in chicken bouillon
Add frozen peas and warm water
Remove half of the cooked peas and set aside
Blend the reserved peas with fresh basil using an immersion blender or food processor to create a sauce base
Add pasta to the pan and cook until almost all liquid is reduced, leaving a little liquid for the sauce
Pour the blended pea and basil mixture over the pasta and peas
Add a generous amount of parmesan cheese and mix well
Serve and enjoy
