Customizable Base Granola Recipe

Base Ingredients (for a simple batch):

    Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C).

  2. In a large bowl, combine oats, salt, cinnamon, and any nuts/seeds you’re using.

  3. In a small pot or microwave-safe bowl, warm the oil and sweetener just enough to combine easily. Stir in vanilla if using.

  4. Pour the wet mixture over the dry and stir until all the oats are coated.

  5. Spread on a parchment-lined baking sheet in an even layer.

  6. Bake 20–25 minutes, stirring halfway through for even browning. For clumpier granola, press it down a bit before baking and avoid stirring too much.

  7. Let it cool completely before stirring in dried fruit or chocolate (if using).

  8. Store in an airtight container for 1–2 weeks (or freeze it!).
