Carolina Mustard Bbq Sauce
  1. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water for slurry. Set aside.

  2. In a medium bowl, add all the ingredients.

  3. Whisk until the ingredients are well combined.

  4. Using a rubber spatula, pour the mixture into a small saucepan.

  5. Whisk often while simmering, on low heat, for 3 minutes (or just until it starts to bubble). Do not overheat or boil.

  6. Add your slurry mix to the sauce and continue to cook for another 2 minutes.

  7. Remove from heat and allow the sauce to cool. Once cool to touch, pour into a jar or container with a sealed lid.

  8. Refrigerate overnight.

  9. To serve, warm it up in a small pot and get eating!
