Homemade Bisquick Substitute
  1. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly together. Store in an airtight container in a cool dry location (pantry).

  2. To make the biscuits: Use 3 cups biscuit mix and add ½ cup butter (softened). Cut the butter with a pastry knife or from until coarse crumbs form.

  3. Add in 1 cup of buttermilk or milk. Mix until dough comes together.

  4. Roll out dough on a lightly floured surface and cut with a biscuit cutter. Or make drop biscuits by scooping out dough by the spoonsful. Bake at 425F for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.
