Steak Tutorial
  1. Remove steak from fridge and let sit for 30 minutes

  2. Heavily salt and pepper on all sides

  3. Heat your skillet on medium high heat, wait 2 minutes, and then add in your olive oil

  4. Sear for 4 minutes on each side

  5. Cut heat

  6. Drain out some excess oil and then add in your butter (i ended up using 2 tablespoons)

  7. Add in your rosemary and thyme

  8. Add in your garli, bring heat to low again

  9. Baste steak for 2 minutes in butter and herbs

  10. Take internal temp (130-135 for med rare, 140-145 for medium)

  11. Remember that it will continue to cook a little bit, so for medium i take it off at 135

  12. Remove from pan, pour the butter and herbs on top of steak

  13. Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing
