Slice up some garlic and peel and chop a few slices of ginger.
Get a saucepan on low heat and add some oil.
Fry the garlic and ginger for about 2 minutes.
Add equal parts sake, mirin, and soy sauce.
Simmer for about 5 minutes.
Add a cornstarch slurry to thicken the sauce.
Stir in sesame seeds.
