Amish Sugar Cream Pie
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°. Line a 9-inch pie pan with pie crust and set aside.

  2. Mix sugar, flour and salt in a large bowl until thoroughly blended. Mix in 2 cups of whipping cream.

  3. In a separate bowl, mix half and half, egg yolks and vanilla. Pour the egg yolk mixture into the sugar mixture and mix.

  4. Pour mixture into pie shell and spread butter pieces evenly on top. Sprinkle top with cinnamon.

  5. Bake at 350° for approximately 60 minutes and the pie bubbles throughout the pie for 10 minutes.

  6. Refrigerate at least 2 hours or overnight before serving.
