Turkey Breakfast Sausage
  1. In a large bowl, thoroughly mix all the spices and herbs.

  2. Add the ground turkey or chicken and (if using) the egg or egg whites.

  3. Mix gently with clean hands or a fork until just combined—do not overmix.

  4. For best flavor, cover and refrigerate the mixture for at least 1 hour or overnight to let the spices meld.

  5. Shape into 8 equal patties, about ½ inch thick.

  6. Cook using one of these methods:

  7. Skillet: Heat a nonstick skillet or griddle over medium heat. Mist with oil or cooking spray. Cook patties for 4–5 minutes per side, until browned and cooked through (internal temp 165°F)

  8. Oven: Place patties on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake at 350°F for 20–30 minutes, flipping halfway, until cooked through
