Start by heating your oven to 400, lining a baking sheet with foil.
Pat your salmon dry, seasoning with salt and pepper.
Put your salmon in a pan, arranging your asparagus around it.
Put a saucepan over medium heat and melt your butter. Add in your garlic, stirring until it browns which takes about three minutes. Drizzle this butter over your salmon and asparagus.
Top with parmesan cheese and then cook for twelve minutes. Broil for another three before serving warm.
