Slow Cooker Cowboy Beef
  1. Season your beef with salt, pepper, and chili powder all over.

  2. Add to the slow cooker, followed by the barbecue sauce, half of the bacon, the onion, the Worcestershire sauce, garlic, brown sugar, and the jalapenos.

  3. Cover and cook until the meat pulls apart easily with a fork, 4-6 hours on low or 6-8 hours on high.

  4. Shred beef with two forks.

  5. Then drain off some of the liquid from the slow cooker if needed.

  6. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

  7. Assemble sandwiches by placing cheese, then the shredded beef on a bun, topped with more bacon and jalapenos, if desired, followed by the crispy onions.
