CREAM OF CHICKEN
2 cups powdered milk
Mix all dry ingredients together, and store in a quart size jar until ready to use.
To make 1 can of cream of (choice) soup, melt 1 tablespoons of butter in a pot.
Add ⅓ cup of your master mix and heat for 1 minute.
Mix in 1 cup of cold water. Whisk well, and bring to a boil.
Lower the heat a little, and cook until it thickens—about 5-7 minutes. Stir frequently.
Remove from heat, and allow to cool for 3-5 minutes.
Use in your recipe as you would a can of cream of chicken or mushroom soup.
