Blackberry Cream Cheese Frosting
  1. In a food processor, puree the blackberries till they're the texture of a smoothie.

  2. Put them through a mesh strainer to get rid of the seeds. Set aside.

  3. In a large bowl, with an electric mixer, beat the cream cheese and butter till smooth.

  4. Slowly add the powdered sugar. Scrape down the bowl as needed. Mix till combined.

  5. Add the vanilla and pinch of salt.

  6. With the mixer on low, add the puree by the spoonful, till the desired color and flavor is achieved.

  7. Mix on high speed for 2 minutes till smooth.

  8. Use any remaining puree to drizzle over the top of your frosted cupcakes.
