Start with 3 cups of flour, add up to an additional ½ cup if the dough is too sticky
Mix all ingredients until well combined
Divide dough into 8 sections
Roll out each section fairly thin but not as thin as tortillas
Ensure work space and resting area are well floured to prevent sticking
Let dough sections rest for 40-60 minutes to puff up
Heat a skillet over high heat
Cook first side for about 1 minute, then flip
Let the pita puff up for about a minute
Flip and continue flipping until fully cooked
