Quick Crispy Tofu Bacon
  1. Whisk together all of the ingredients for the marinade in a shallow bowl.

  2. Gently press excess water from the firm tofu block with paper towel or a tea towel. Using a vegetable peeler, make 12-15 long thin slices of tofu from your firm tofu block (peel the long side of the tofu block-not the wider side).

  3. Dip each tofu slice into the marinade (or use a basting brush) and add the slices to an oiled frying pan on medium heat.

  4. Fry tofu slices for 3-4 minutes on each side until tofu is nice and crispy.
