Combine 1 can root beer w/ chili sauce sugar vinegar and 1 tsp poultry seasoning.
Bring to a boil in medium saucepan cook until thick approximately 15 to 20 minutes.
Cool and divide into 2 separate bowls. In small bowl mix oil salt black pepper and garlic add remaining poultry seasoning rub over chicken. Stand up chicken and pour ¾ can root beer into body cavity.
Holding chicken upright place empty soda can under it and stand it up. Pour remaining soda over chicken.Put on flat cookie sheet and roast at 350 degrees approximately 2 hours or until juices run clear when chicken is pricked.
