In a large bowl, whisk together the milk, cream, eggs, sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt until well combined.
Pour the egg mixture evenly over the bread cubes, ensuring all the bread is soaked.
Drizzle the melted butter over the top.
Let the mixture sit for about 15 minutes so the bread can absorb the liquid.
Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the custard is set and the top is golden brown.
Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving. Bread pudding can be served warm or at room temperature, with or without a drizzle of caramel or a scoop of whipped cream.
