Funeral Potatoes
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

  2. In a large bowl, mix together the sour cream, cream of chicken soup, 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese, and ½ cup of melted butter.

  3. Stir in the 2 lbs of diced hash browns, onion powder, and garlic powder.

  4. Spread the mixture into a 13x9 inch baking dish.

  5. In a small bowl, mix together the 2 cups of crushed corn flakes and ¼ cup of melted butter.

  6. Sprinkle the corn flake mixture over the top of the hash brown mixture.

  7. Bake for just under an hour, or until the top is golden brown.
