Spinach Fried Rice
  1. Scramble some seasoned eggs and set aside.

  2. Add ⅓ of butter into a heated pan along with a day old refrigerated white rice.

  3. Add the remaining butter along with the salt and sugar. Set aside in a bowl and separate the rice as much as possible to let the moisture evaporate.

  4. Finely chop the spinach. Absorb the water from the spinach using crumpled paper towels.

  5. Add the buttered rice back in and mix the spinach and rice together.

  6. Add Juyu (umami soup base) to the mixture.

  7. Snip the beef rolls into bite-sized pieces, absorb the excess moisture, and season with a little bit of sugar and soy sauce.

  8. Add the beef to the spinach fried rice.

  9. Top with a drizzle of sesame oil and serve with kimchi if desired.
