Sanji's Navy Curry

Beef marinate:

    Rest of ingredients:

  1. Cut the meat into bite size and Marinate with ginger, garlic, turmeric and yogurt and set aside

  2. Cut the tomatoes skin for easy peel and boil them

  3. Remove the tomatoes seeds and set aside

  4. Cut the onions into small cubes, potatoes into 2cm thick cubes, and carrots into 1 cm thick cubes

  5. saute the onions in oil until they are golden brown over high heat and set aside

    Spice mix:

  6. Melt some lard, add flour and mix gently so as not to scorch it

  7. when it is brown add curry powder, and garam masala to enhance flavor

    Bring dish together:

  8. Boil carrots and potatoes in some water

  9. add spice mix, beef stock, tomatoes and stirr

  10. add onions then marinated meat in and stirr

  11. grate some apples for subtle flavor

  12. cover and let cook over medium heat until cooked
