Cook pasta according to packet, drain, ready to go in sauce
Melt ½ butter in large pan with oil & sauté onion for 3-4 mins, add garlic & cook for 2 more mins
Chop salami into 1 cm pieces & add to pan, fry for 3-5 mins until starting to brown
Add thyme, basil, oregano, and canned tomatoes, bring to gentle boil
Check seasoning, add salt, pepper, and ½ tsp white sugar
Reduce heat to simmer, add pasta, and cook for 2-3 mins
Remove from heat & allow to cool for 15 mins
Add 300ml cream, taste, and add more as you need
Serve straight away or refrigerate for the next day
