Vegan Walnut Bolognese Sauce
  1. Prepare the Vegan Walnut Italian Sausage Crumbles according to instructions, only leave them in the pan after toasting.

  2. Stir in the diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato paste, and filtered water. Decrease the heat to low and simmer, partially covered, for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  3. Stir in a pinch of baking soda (a trick to balance out the acidic bite).

  4. Taste and season with more salt, if needed.

  5. Serve the sauce over pasta with a bit of Vegan Parmesan or in Lasagna.
