Preheat the oven to 400°F.
In an 8 or 9-inch cast iron or other oven-safe skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
Stir in the Parmesan, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Add the potatoes, stir until completely coated, and spread into a single layer.
Transfer the skillet to the oven and roast the potatoes for 15 minutes.
Flip the potatoes over, then continue to roast until they are crispy and bubbling around the edges, about 15 minutes longer.
