Add the vegan steak, onion, garlic, dry seasonings and oil to the slow cooker. Use tongs to toss until the seasonings coat the vegan steak.
Pour in the OJ & broth and gently press the vegan steak into the cooking liquid. Cover and place on high for 3 hours, or low for for 5-6 hours.
Remove the lid, add the lime juice & cilantro and toss. Taste and add salt if needed.
Heat the tortillas and layer each taco with vegan steak and any of the optional toppings.
