In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain any excess fat.
Add the diced onions and chopped green pepper to the skillet. Cook until softened.
Stir in the salt, pepper, cornstarch, beef broth, A1 sauce, and steak seasoning. Bring to a boil. Reduce to low heat/simmer for 10 mins as sauce thickens. Take off heat.
Preheat the broiler. Butter buns and put into broiler for a few minutes to toast.
Put meat mixture on half of the bun and cheese on the other half. Broil for a few minutes until cheese has melted. Serve immediately and enjoy!
