Buttermilk Fried Chicken With Spicy Ranch Dressing
  1. In a bowl add chicken, season with salt, pepper, paprika powder, garlic powder and onion powder. Add buttermilk, pickle juice and hot sauce. Mix until well combined. Let the chicken marinate for at least 2 hours or overnight.

  2. Make dry batter: In a bowl combine all purpose flour, corn starch, salt, pepper, smoked paprika powder, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix well to combine.

  3. Coat the marinated chicken in the dry batter, dip again in the buttermilk mixture, then lastly again in the dry mixture. Repeat the process until all the chicken strips are well coated.

  4. Heat oil in a pan to 360°F. Carefully drop chicken strips into hot oil. Do not overcrowd the pan. Deep fry the chicken for 5-6 minutes, flipping sides in between, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F and cooked through.

  5. Make the spicy ranch dressing by combining mayo, sour cream, buttermilk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, smoked paprika powder, lemon juice, dried parsley and dill. Whisk to combine until smooth and creamy.

  6. Serve with buttermilk fried chicken strips and enjoy.
