Gluten Free Bread
  1. Place the flour, sugar, yeast, salt, and xanthan gum in a mixing bowl.

  2. Using an electric mixer, gradually beat in the warm milk until the mixture comes together.

  3. Add the soft butter and beat until thoroughly blended.

  4. Add the eggs one at a time, beating until each is integrated before adding the next.

  5. Beat the mixture at high speed for 3 minutes until smooth and silky.

  6. Cover the bowl and let the batter rise for 1 hour.

  7. Gently stir the batter down and scrape it into a greased loaf pan.

  8. Smooth the top and cover the pan to let the dough rise until it crowns over the rim.

  9. Preheat the oven to 350°F.

  10. Bake for 38 to 42 minutes until golden brown.

  11. Remove from the oven, turn out onto a rack, and optionally run a stick of butter over the top.
