Cut the cabbage to fit in the pan without exceed pan height
Cut pork to ¼ inch thickness
Layer cabbage and pork slices around the pan
Combine water, dashi powder, soy sauce, sake and mirin to make the broth and pour over cabbage and pork
Bring to boil on medium high
Cover and reduce heat to medium low
Cook 40 min with cover
Cook 10 min uncovered
