  1. Make a dough with flour, salt, one egg, and warm water until smooth and firm

  2. Let dough rest under a damp towel

  3. Mix ground beef with finely chopped onion, salt, and pepper

  4. Roll the dough thin and cut into tiny squares

  5. Add a small pinch of filling to each square and pinch corners together to seal

  6. Repeat until you have a tray full of dumplings ready to cook

  7. Sauté tomato paste in olive oil for 3-4 minutes

  8. Add dried mint and aleppo pepper, cook for another few minutes

  9. Pour in water and chicken broth, simmer for 15 minutes

  10. Add chickpeas and desired amount of manti, cook for another 10-15 minutes

  11. Serve and enjoy
