Sausage Tapas
  1. With the rack in the middle position, preheat the oven to 180 °C (350 °F).

  2. Place the bread slices on a large baking sheet. Drizzle with 30 ml (2 tablespoons) of the oil.

  3. Toast in the oven for about 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Let cool on the baking sheet.

  4. In a skillet, heat some oil. Cook the sausage until golden brown. Remove from heat and put sausage aside.

  5. In the same pan, heat some oil. Add onion and cook 5-10 minutes until tender.

  6. Add the balsamic vinegar, mix and cook again for 30 seconds-1 minute. Remove from heat.

  7. Spread the mustard on the bread. Add the sausage and the onions on top.

  8. Serve hot or warm.
