  3. Next, incorporate a cup of Zatarain's Creole mustard into the bowl.

  4. Sprinkle in some Creole seasoning according to your taste preferences.

  5. Zest a whole lemon. Squeeze the lemon juice into the bowl, being careful to catch any seeds that may fall in.

  6. Chop some cornichons and add them to the mixture, along with some capers, depending on whether you want to include their juice.

  7. Mix all the ingredients together until they are well combined, keeping the mixture slightly chunky rather than completely pureed.

  8. Whisk everything thoroughly to achieve your desired consistency.
