High-protein Mug Cake
  1. Choose a microwave-safe mug (250–350ml)

  2. Mix wet ingredients first: add egg, peanut butter, and syrup, then stir thoroughly until smooth and fully combined

  3. Add dry ingredients: add almond flour, protein powder, and baking powder, then mix until you get a smooth, thick batter

  4. If too thick, add 1 tsp water or milk

  5. Gently fold in chocolate chips without overmixing

  6. Microwave on high (700–1000W) for 60–75 seconds for soft and gooey center, or 90–120 seconds for fully set cake-like texture

  7. Let rest for 1 minute after microwaving to allow it to firm up
