World's Best Cinnamon Rolls
  1. For the dough: In a small bowl, combine the warm milk, yeast, and granulated sugar. Let sit for 5-10 minutes until foamy and bubbly.

  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter, salt, and egg. Stir in the yeast mixture.

  3. Add the flour 1 cup at a time, mixing with a wooden spoon or dough hook until a soft dough forms. On a lightly floured surface, knead the dough for 3-4 minutes until smooth, elastic, and not sticky.

  4. Place dough in a lightly greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1-2 hours or until doubled in size.

  5. For the filling: In a medium bowl, mix the brown sugar and cinnamon.

  6. Punch down the dough to release any air bubbles. On a lightly floured surface, roll the dough into a 16x21-inch rectangle.
