Homemade Dole Whip Recipe
  1. Prep Your Pineapple & Equipment: Make sure your pineapple is fully frozen. If you're using bagged frozen pineapple, you're good to go. If you're freezing fresh pineapple, cut it into chunks and freeze it solid for at least 4-6 hours (or overnight). Set up your high-speed blender or food processor, ensuring it's clean and ready.

  2. Blend to Soft-Serve Texture: Add the ingredients to your blender in this order for optimal blending: coconut milk, lemon juice, lime juice, sugar, and salt. Then, pile in the frozen pineapple chunks. Start blending on a low speed, then gradually increase to high, using your tamper to push the pineapple down towards the blades. Keep blending until the mixture is completely smooth, thick, and resembles soft-serve ice cream.

  3. Taste & Adjust: Give your freshly blended Dole Whip a quick taste test. Adjust sweetness or tartness as needed.

  4. Chill for Swirlable Texture: Spread the mixture into a shallow, freezer-safe container and freeze for about 15-30 minutes.

  5. Serve “Dole Whip Style”: Scoop the slightly firmed-up Dole Whip into a piping bag fitted with a large star tip and pipe a beautiful swirl into your serving cup or cone.
