Grandma Murray’s Scratch Biscuits

  1. Preheat oven to 4000

  2. Combine the first four dry ingredients

  3. Cut in Crisco or butter until mixture is crumbly

  4. Create a well in the center of the mixture and pour milk in center

  5. Mix with your hands (don’t over mix)

  6. Drop 2 inch diameter globs on a baking or cookie sheet

  7. Place in oven, when tops are golden brown, remove and enjoy!

Suggested toppings: butter, grape jelly (my favorite), strawberries, tuna fish and almost anything else…..
