Turmeric Black Pepper Chicken
  1. In a small dish, mix the turmeric, salt and pepper.

  2. Place chicken pieces in a medium bowl. Add the turmeric seasoning mix and toss the chicken pieces in the spice blend to coat evenly.

  3. Pour the oil in a large skillet set over medium heat. When it glistens, add the chicken in a single layer and cook for about 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  4. In a small bowl, stir together the coconut aminos (or tamari) with the sweetener. Set aside.

  5. Add the garlic, shallots and broccolini to the chicken. Cook for 2-3 minutes to soften the broccolini.

  6. Pour in the coconut aminos mixture. Bump the temperature to medium-high heat and cook another 2-4 minutes to let the sauce reduce. Stir frequently.

  7. Remove from heat and serve with a sprinkle of red pepper flakes, if desired.
