  1. Put all the ingredients in a large stockpot.

  2. Bring it to a boil over high heat, and then immediately turn down the heat to medium low.

  3. Cover the lid, and let simmer for 4 to 6 hours—the longer the better.

  4. Once the stock is cooled, strain the broth into individual containers and store them in the freezer for future use.
