Add the lard to the flour and mix until it resembles a crumbly texture.
Add half the water and mix, then add the remaining water and mix until a sticky dough forms.
Knead the dough for 4-5 minutes until smooth.
Cover the dough and let it rest for 15 minutes.
Divide the dough into 10-12 balls.
Roll each ball into a thin round tortilla.
Cook the tortillas on a hot cast iron pan for 20-30 seconds per side.
