Take your steak out of refrigerator 15-20 minutes before cooking. Rub them generously with salt, pepper and ½ teaspoon paprika.
Place the steaks next to each other on the bottom of the slow cooker, top it with chopped onion and garlic. Pour water or broth until covers the meat (about ½ cup).
Cover and cook on slow for 6-7 hours or on high for 3 hours, until the beef is tender and easily pulls apart.
Serve with veggies, mashed potatoes or salad.
