Best Damn Crispy And Tender Air Fryer Mushrooms
  1. Clean and Slice. Use a damp paper towel under cool running water to wipe off any dirt and debris. Avoid soaking them in water, as mushrooms can absorb moisture, which can affect their texture when cooked. Once cleaned, slice the mushrooms evenly to ensure they cook uniformly in the air fryer. I cut them in ¼ inch-thick slices. If mushrooms are smaller, you can simply slice them in half.

  2. Place your mushroom slices in a mixing bowl and coat them with a mixture of oil and soy sauce. Let them sit for five minutes to allow the flavors to penetrate the mushrooms, but be careful not to leave them in the mixture for too long. Although mushrooms absorb flavors well, too much soy sauce can result in an overly salty taste that's just not my cup of tea.

  3. Preheat your air fryer to 375° F (190°C) for 2-3 minutes.Air fry at 375°F for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking.

  4. Sprinkle on some Parmesan cheese if desired. Parmesan cheese adds a rich, savory taste to these mushrooms.
