Season trout fillets with salt, pepper, and Italian herb seasoning.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
Add trout fillets and cook for about 2-3 minutes per side, or until cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
Add chicken broth, lemon juice, and butter to the skillet. Stir until butter is melted.
Return trout fillets to the skillet and spoon the sauce over them. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.
Sprinkle chopped fresh parsley over the trout fillets before serving.
Serve the trout with the garlic lemon butter herb sauce drizzled on top.
